Introducing the new Liuku Pendant designed by Maija Puoskari, Disc Table; a new versatile side table series in FSC certified soaped oak and a new round dining table with a eco-friendly linoleum surface; Eat Table designed by the Danish craftsman Nis Fischer Christensen.
Further we're showcasing a new universe within the Mater brand called Danish Classics by Mater that marks the introduction of a new venture. The Danish Classics by Mater is a tribute to the designers, architects and other icons that have seeded the ground to where Denmark is today as a well-respected global design nation. The Danish Classics by Mater is manufactured after high ethical standards, respecting both the design, the craftsmanship and the environment.
First contribution is a collection of chairs designed in the 1950ies by the Danish architects Ejvind A. Johansson and Jørgen Bækmark. (Please note: this collection will not be available for sales in Denmark)
In 2016, we will be attending five international fairs - IMM Cologne Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, Salone Del Mobile, ICFF NYC and Clerkenwell.
2016 marks the most ambitious launch of new products in the company history. By expanding our design and ethical footprint, we hope to reach even more design-focused consumers and clients that share our ambitions. We're looking forward to welcome you at the fairs and present the news.
With almost ten years in business, we wanted to celebrate with a new look for our visuals and 2016 campaign. Our aesthetic reflects our dedication to high-quality materials, a simple style and a color scheme of calm, organic muted tones.
Simple, organic and modern shapes add an understated, yet interesting aesthetic appeal. The Mater collection is an ongoing interplay of exquisite design talent, shared wisdom from craftsmen and master artisans, sustainable techniques, premium materials and reflective insights.
