at Sticks'n'Sushi in London 

The newly opened Sticks’n’Sushi restaurant boasts a striking interior crafted by Copenhagen’s renowned OEO Studio. Tiled organic columns set a warm and inviting tone, seamlessly merging casual seating with bespoke furniture.

Central to the dining experience, the seating areas feature Compound Dining chairs, by Mater in various editions, both upholstered and non-upholstered, with seats made of Matek®, our recycled waste material. Overhead, clusters of Terra pendant lights create an intimate ambiance, beautifully complemented by Terra Portable lamps at the tables. The interior concept draws inspiration from 1960-70s, artfully combining elements with a modern contemporary flair.

Matek®
In alliance with large corporations, Mater has developed a technology that recycles their fibre and plastic waste. This results in five material blends under the name Matek®.

FSC®-certified wood
We have used FSC®-certified wood in selected products since the beginning. FSC® certification is based on standards for forest management, biodiversity and workers' rights.

Mater Take-back
Furniture made with Matek® can be returned at the end of its life for recycling into new furniture. Take-back is arranged case by case, depending on location and volume.
