A selection of Lendager Group’s exhibition ‘Wasteland – From waste to architecture’ will be shown at the Mater Earth Gallery in Copenhagen from 1 - 26 May 2018.
The exhibition is a collaboration between architecture studio Lendager Group and design company Mater – where both companies showcase examples of their sustainable and innovative working methods that support people, local craft traditions and the environment.
The world as we know is changing. Digitalization, globalization, urbanization. Our global population and middle class are growing – and the demand for food, electricity and housing is on the rise. Our climate is also changing rapidly, and these changes are closely related. Now more consumption, more traffic and more buildings equal more climate change.
But it does not have to be that way. The exhibition MATER x WASTELAND shows how we can turn this change into something better by showcasing examples of sustainable innovation in the field of architecture and design.
MATER x WASTELAND makes it visible that change can be a good thing – bringing about increased sustainability, livability and social cohesion. However, if we are to succeed with this massive transformation, it takes a collective change of mindset.
We humbly hope that MATER x WASTELAND will inspire you and make it clear that sustainable change is indeed possible – without compromising on either aesthetics, price or functionality.
The exhibition takes place until May 26 at Mater Earth Gallery, Glentevej 47 Copenhagen NV.
Open Monday - Friday from 9.00 - 17.00
