Le Pristine Café
Nestled inside the newly developed, one-of-a-kind Hotel Toranomon Hills in Tokyo, you’ll find Le Pristine Café. In keeping with the hotel’s interior design, Le Pristine is decorated by Danish design studio Space Copenhagen. The design language reflects Space Copenhagen’s philosophy of "slow aesthetics," which emphasizes natural materials and craftsmanship with quality, longevity, and a sense of timeless appeal.
Design chosen for elegance and longevity
The hotel’s design seamlessly blends simplicity and sustainability, using natural materials crafted to endure while offering guests unparalleled comfort and a tranquil retreat from the vibrant city. Situated in the Toranomon Hills area of Tokyo—a district that epitomizes transformation—the location has evolved from a primarily business-focused neighborhood into a dynamic space where work, life, cultural discovery, and hospitality converge.
To complement the overarching design concept, Space Copenhagen selected interiors of their own design for the project. Among the highlights are the iconic High Stool and Dining Chair from Mater chosen for the lobby and ground floor café.
Both pieces are crafted in a bespoke version of Sirka Grey oak and upholstered with a grey-beige leather that harmonizes with the overall interior’s color scheme.
Space Copenhagen
The High Stool and Dining Chair, designed by the renowned studio Space Copenhagen, share a typology characterized by an elegant silhouette and conical legs. With their organic yet minimalist aesthetic, the designs possess a distinct sculptural quality, making them almost design pieces in their own right. The Dining Chair’s backrest, upholstered in soft yet durable leather, provides a comfortable embrace, eliminating the need for armrests and enhancing the user experience.
FSC Certified wood
The wooden frames are meticulously crafted from FSC-certified wood, sustainably sourced from responsibly managed forests. This commitment aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 15: Life on Land and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
