Re-thinking linear furniture production
Since we developed the material,
it is our responsibility to take it back.
We aim to keep our products in use for as long as possible by offering spare parts and maintenance guides to keep your furniture at its best for longer.

When repair isn't an option, we offer to take back Matek™ furniture at the end of its life and recycle the material into new Mater furniture. Take-back is arranged case by case, depending on location and volume.
Matek® is designed to be reprocessed, and our technology allows the Matek™ composite to be ground down and re-processed into new products. Using the same method, we are also developing new ways to re-use scrap in our own production to reduce waste.

Behind the process
We want to make it easy to follow the process from old furniture to new. This is how we do it.
1.
Your used furniture will be picked up
2.
Next it will be delivered back to Mater’s warehouse
3.
Then the furniture will be dissasembled and made ready to the recycling process
4.
Parts made from Mater Circular Material will be granulated back into raw material and metal, wood and textiles will be sorted and sent to the local recycling station
5.
The Mater Circular Material will be put back into the TKM machine
6.
And your old furniture has now become a new one
