The Dining Chair, designed by the renowned Danish architecture duo Space Copenhagen, builds on the original High Stool’s beautifully fluid, sculptural, and archetypal character, enhanced by a generously rounded backrest that elevates comfort. The backrest is upholstered in soft yet durable leather and provides full support, making armrests unnecessary while ensuring a comfortable seating experience.

Crafted from sustainably sourced, FSC®-certified solid oak, The Dining Chair features a steam-bent veneer backrest. This version is made in in matt lacquered oak and upholstered in Sørensen Leather – Nuance Walnut, combining responsible material choices with refined comfort and long-lasting durability. The collection is available with click felt gliders upon request.

Care and maintenance ⌵

Lacquered wood

Lacquered wood offers a strong surface, it’s easy to clean, and requires little maintenance.

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the furniture with a soft cloth. The product can also be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Always follow the wood grains and dry with a soft dry cloth immediately afterwards.

Avoid using abrasive and aggressive cleaning detergents, as this will damage the surface of the wood treatment. Avoid placing wooden furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can interfere with the appearance of the wood.

Leather

Leather is a natural material that, with proper care, will develop a beautiful patina over time. Its appearance naturally varies from hide to hide, giving each piece a unique character.

To ensure its long-lasting appeal, regular cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth is recomeded.

Avoid soaking the leather with any substances and use a clean, dry cloth to absorb any spills immediately. Keep the leather away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sharp objects to prevent fading, drying, or scratching. Refrain from applying any chemical products, including saddle soap, leather cleaners, or household cleaners, as these can damage the material.
