Mater was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 as a pioneering green-tech design brand with sustainability and circularity at its core. The collection spans stools, dining and lounge chairs, tables and office seating, developed with commissioned designers working with exquisite craftsmanship and genuine materials. We see opportunities in waste and scrap materials to recycle, reuse and create new and durable products, and the majority of the collection is manufactured in FSC®-certified wood. Great craftsmanship and pure materials produce quality and durability, making design that lasts a lifetime and ages beautifully.
