The Ray Pendant Lamp // Steel & FCS® certified wood

The Mater Ray Lamps are a stunning lighting series, combining FSC® certified oak wood and steel in a beautifully innovative contrast. Designed by Danish design studio PEDERJESSEN, The Ray collection has a strong aesthetic reference to Nordic minimalism and materials, yet utilises low energy. The wooden globe shade is mounted inside the steel shell with magnets so that the user can position the beam of light in any direction. Ray’s outer shell is constructed in steel, with wooden inner globe housing, and textile-covered cord. Ray is available as a table lamp, a wall lamp and pendant light in black or white.

Care and maintenance ⌵

Wood

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the furniture with a soft cloth. The product can also be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Always follow the wood grains and dry with a soft dry cloth immediately afterwards.

Avoid using abrasive and aggressive cleaning detergents, as this will damage the surface of the lacquered or stained wood. Avoid placing wooden furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity, as this can interfere with the appearance of the wood.

Steel

For daily care of steel parts use a soft, dry cloth.
