The Low Stool is designed by the Danish architect duo Space Copenhagen and is regarded as a New Danish Classic. With its organic yet minimalist style, this stool is suitable for both residential and commercial use. The stool is crafted by the ancient technique of sand casting in a small workshop in Northern India. The raw material is derived from 80 % aluminum waste. The upholstery is genuine leather.

Available in two heights - 69 cm and 74 cm. We recommend 69 cm for use at the kitchen counter and 74 cm for bar tables.

Care and maintenance

Lacquered or stained wood

Lacquered or stained wood offers a strong surface, it’s easy to clean, and requires little maintenance.

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the furniture with a soft cloth. The product can also be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Always follow the wood grains and dry with a soft dry cloth immediately afterwards.

Avoid using abrasive and aggressive cleaning detergents, as this will damage the surface of the wood treatment. Avoid placing wooden furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can interfere with the appearance of the wood.

Soaped wood

Soaped wood requires gentle and daily care, to avoid permanent stains. The furniture is best cleaned with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth.

In case of more resistant stains or scratches, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper grade 220 or 240. Then wipe off with a dry soft cloth and apply a new layer of soap following the wood grains. Always follow the instructions carefully for the product purchased for retreatment.

Leather

Leather is a natural material that, with proper care, will develop a beautiful patina over time. Its appearance naturally varies from hide to hide, giving each piece a unique character.

To ensure its long-lasting appeal, regular cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth is recomeded.

Avoid soaking the leather with any substances and use a clean, dry cloth to absorb any spills immediately. Keep the leather away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sharp objects to prevent fading, drying, or scratching. Refrain from applying any chemical products, including saddle soap, leather cleaners, or household cleaners, as these can damage the material.

For a more thorough cleaning of leather use soap foam as directed by our supplier Sorensen leather: https://sorensenleather.com/collections/care/
